The QuantumProxies.io MCP server gives Claude, Cursor and any MCP client 28 tools to scrape, search, map and crawl the live web through residential proxies. Add https://api.quantumproxies.io/mcp to a client that supports OAuth sign-in, sign in to your account and click Allow access. No API key to copy.

The hosted endpoint follows the authorization part of the MCP specification: it is an OAuth 2.1 protected resource, and a request without credentials gets a 401 response that tells the client where to sign in. Keys still work on the same URL, so nothing breaks for existing setups.
The hosted server lives at https://api.quantumproxies.io/mcp and speaks Streamable HTTP. It publishes OAuth protected resource metadata (RFC 9728) at https://api.quantumproxies.io/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp, which names https://app.quantumproxies.io as the authorization server. That server publishes its own metadata (RFC 8414) at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. A client that implements MCP authorization finds all of this on its own, starting from the 401 response.
PKCE with the S256 method is required on every authorization. Clients can register through Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591) or identify themselves with a Client ID Metadata Document. Access tokens last one hour; refresh tokens last 30 days and rotate on every use. Tokens are bound to the MCP endpoint with resource indicators (RFC 8707) and are never forwarded to other services.
Every client you allow gets a dedicated API key named MCP · <client name> on the API keys page of your dashboard. Its usage is billed to your account balance, like any other API key. Delete the key and that client is disconnected, while your other clients and keys keep working.
API keys keep working on the same endpoint: send a qp_live_ key as Authorization: Bearer or in the X-Api-Key header. The local package, npx -y quantumproxies-mcp, runs over stdio on your machine and reads the key from the QUANTUMPROXIES_API_KEY environment variable. Use a key wherever there is no browser to sign in: scripts, CI and headless agents.

The local package runs on your machine via npx and talks to the public QuantumProxies.io API with your own qp_live_ key: no internal secrets in the package and no extra hop. The hosted endpoint makes the same API calls with the key tied to your connection; OAuth tokens are never forwarded to other services.
