An IPv6 proxy routes your request through an address from the 128-bit IPv6 space instead of the 32-bit IPv4 space the internet ran on for decades. The practical difference is supply. IPv4 addresses are a finite, traded resource, so every proxy built on one carries the cost of leasing it. IPv6 addresses are handed to networks in enormous blocks, and the price per gigabyte follows.
That is the whole economics of this product: our IPv6 plans start at $0.20 per GB and fall to $0.083 per GB at 3,000 GB — roughly a tenth of what a gigabyte costs on our datacenter IPv4 plans, and a small fraction of residential traffic. The USA pool exits from American IPv6 ranges, so a target that reads geolocation from the address sees a visitor in the United States.
An IPv6 proxy can only reach a host that publishes an AAAA record — the DNS record that maps a hostname to an IPv6 address. If a site is IPv4-only, no IPv6 proxy on the market will connect to it, ours included. Many large platforms answer over IPv6 and many others still do not, so the honest answer for any target is to check it rather than trust a list.

IPv6 is not allocated one address at a time. A network typically receives a /48 block and hands out /64 subnets from inside it, and a single /64 already holds more addresses than the entire IPv4 internet. That abundance is what lets an IPv6 proxy put every request on a fresh address.
It is also why a shallow pool is easy to spot: ten thousand requests from ten thousand addresses that all share one /64 prefix look like a single source, because they are. Our USA pool spreads across multiple /48 allocations and rotates across /64 subnets inside them, so consecutive requests differ in the network part of the address, not only in the last few hex groups. When a target counts by prefix rather than by single address, that is the difference between a job that finishes and one that stalls.
Rotating is the default and the mode IPv6 was made for: each request leaves from a different address, so a large fetch spreads across the pool instead of leaning on one exit. Use it for crawling public pages at volume, bulk fetching product or documentation URLs, SEO and availability checks against IPv6-enabled sites, and any automation that never signs in anywhere.
Static sessions hold one IPv6 address for the length of a task, which is what you want when a service ties a sequence of requests together: a paginated API that issues a cursor, a job that must look like one client across several calls, or debugging where you need the same exit twice in a row. Both modes run over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, authenticate by user:pass or IP whitelist, ride 1 Gbps+ links and accept unlimited concurrent sessions.
