# Rotating Proxies – New IP Every Request | QuantumProxies.io

Rotating proxies that switch IPs on every request across 90M+ residential, mobile and datacenter addresses. Pay per GB, sticky sessions included.

A rotating proxy is a proxy server that assigns a different IP address from its pool for every connection or at fixed time intervals, so a thousand requests can look like a thousand different visitors. Ours rotate across 90M+ residential IPs, datacenter subnets, 4G/5G mobile carriers and massive IPv6 ranges — with rotation included on every plan.

## What Is a Rotating Proxy?

Instead of giving you one fixed IP address, a rotating proxy hands you a gateway. Each request you send through the gateway is assigned an exit IP from a large pool — per request, or per time window. To the target website, your traffic arrives as many independent visitors from different networks and cities rather than one machine hammering it. That is what makes rotation the default tool for web scraping, price monitoring and any workload where volume from a single IP would trigger rate limits or bans.

## Rotating vs Sticky vs Static: Which Session Type When?

Rotating sessions change the IP on every request — best for stateless work like crawling product pages or SERPs. Sticky sessions keep the same IP for a defined window (up to 120 minutes on residential, 60 on mobile) — the right choice for logins, carts and multi-step flows that would break if the address changed mid-session. Static IPs never change at all: that is the ISP proxy product, where a dedicated address stays yours for months. All three are configured from the same dashboard; you don't buy separate products for rotating and sticky.

## Rotation Across Every Network Type

Residential rotation draws from 90M+ real home IPs in 200+ countries with city-level targeting — the workhorse for protected targets. Datacenter rotation spreads requests across multiple /24 subnets at $0.50/GB, ideal when you need raw throughput. Mobile rotation surfaces each session on a different 4G/5G carrier IP, the highest-trust option for social platforms. IPv6 rotation cycles through practically unlimited addresses from $0.20/GB for bulk work on IPv6-ready sites. Same gateway pattern, same credentials format, four price points.

## Backconnect Gateways: How Our Rotation Works

You connect to one stable hostname and port with your username and password; the gateway does the rest. Rotation mode is controlled from the dashboard or via session parameters — per-request rotation for crawlers, timed sticky sessions for flows. There is no proxy list to download and refresh: the pool updates continuously behind the gateway, dead IPs are pruned automatically, and unlimited concurrent connections mean your scraper's parallelism is the only ceiling.

## When You Should NOT Rotate

Rotation is the wrong tool for long-lived identities. If you are managing a storefront, a social account or any login the platform expects to see from a consistent address, a rotating exit will look suspicious rather than natural — that workload belongs on a dedicated ISP proxy with a static residential IP. A good setup usually combines both: static IPs for the accounts, rotating pools for the data collection.

Rotating proxies turn IP diversity into an on/off switch: one endpoint, millions of exits, sticky sessions when you need them and static ISP IPs when you don't want rotation at all. Pick a network, generate your gateway credentials, and your scraper is rotating in minutes.
