# MostLogin Proxy Setup – Step by Step | QuantumProxies.io

Add QuantumProxies to a MostLogin profile: Proxy tab, Type Basic, Proxy protocol, Host:Port, Account and Password, then Check proxy server IP. With screenshots.

## MostLogin Proxy Setup: Basic Proxy on the Profile's Proxy Tab

MostLogin's Create profile page has a Proxy tab with a Basic type for manual lines. Pick the Proxy protocol, type the gateway host and port into Host:Port, the username into Account and the password into Password. Check proxy server IP shows the exit with its city and time zone.

## Where the proxy goes in MostLogin

Profiles → Create profile → Proxy tab → Type: Basic

- **Proxy type:** Proxy protocol
- **Host:** Host:Port (host part)
- **Port:** Host:Port (after the colon)
- **Username:** Account
- **Password:** Password

## Set up the proxy in MostLogin

### 1. Create a browser profile

Open MostLogin and click Create profile on the Profiles page. Switch to the Proxy tab at the top and select Basic under Type.

### 2. Enter the proxy details

Set Proxy protocol to http for the HTTP port or socks5 for the SOCKS5 port (https means a TLS proxy and does not apply). Type the gateway host in Host:Port and the port after the colon, then the username in Account and the password in Password. Proxy rotate URL stays empty.

### 3. Check the proxy server IP

Click Check proxy server IP. The result lists the exit IP with country, region, city, coordinates, time zone and postal code. Finish the profile and confirm.

Check proxy server IP, under the fields. The result shows the exit IP, city and time zone.

Confirm the profile and open it. The proxy applies to this profile only, as the note under the form says.

## What to type: hosts, ports and the username

Copy the line from the dashboard (Proxies, your plan, the proxy generator) rather than typing it: it already carries the country, the session id and the session length in the username. The table shows what each field holds.

The password is the one the generator prints next to the username. Pick HTTP or SOCKS5 in the tool and use the port of that column; a port from the other column is the most common reason a check fails. USER and the session id are placeholders for your own values.

### http, https or socks5 in MostLogin's Proxy protocol?

http with the HTTP port, socks5 with the SOCKS5 port. https expects a TLS proxy and will not connect to our gateways.

### What is Proxy rotate URL in MostLogin?

A link the browser can call to change the IP. Our sticky usernames handle sessions without it; leave it empty unless your plan has a rotation link you want to use.

### Does MostLogin accept a pasted proxy line?

Host:Port, Account and Password are separate fields in the Basic type; paste the parts from the generator line.
