# Chrome Extension | Quantum Proxies Manager - One-Click Proxy for Chrome

Quantum Proxies Manager is a free Chrome extension to enable, switch, and manage your proxies directly from the browser. One-click toggle, automatic rotation, geo-targeting, bandwidth monitoring, and IP whitelist. Install from Chrome Web Store.

Turn your proxies on and off from the Chrome toolbar: pick a plan, choose where you exit from, and browse. Geo-targeting, rotating or sticky sessions, WebRTC leak protection and usage alerts are built in — no manual proxy configuration.

- Free extension — you only pay for the proxy plan
- Works with every Quantum Proxies plan type
- No browsing history, URLs or page content collected

## Everything the extension does

Version 1.2 puts the whole proxy workflow in the popup: connect, target the exit you need, and check you are not leaking — without opening the dashboard.

### Connect & control

- **One-click connect** — Pick one of your plans, flip the toggle, and every tab goes through the proxy. Flip it back to browse direct.
- **One-click sign in, or an API key** — Already signed into the dashboard in this browser? Continue with one click. Otherwise paste an API key — it stays on your device.
- **Live connection status** — The popup shows the exit IP you are on, its country and city, and the plan and session mode currently active.
- **Balance and usage in the header** — Your account balance sits in the header, the active plan's bandwidth in a progress bar, with alerts before you run out.

### Targeting & sessions

- **Country, state and city targeting** — Choose exactly where your traffic exits from. On mobile plans you can go down to the carrier.
- **Rotating or sticky sessions** — A fresh IP on every request, or the same IP held from 1 to 60 minutes for logins and checkouts.
- **Auto-rotation for dedicated IPs** — ISP and datacenter IPs rotate on their own: time-based from 10 seconds to 24 hours, or on every request.
- **A profile per workflow** — Save geo, rotation and protocol as a profile, then switch between profiles straight from the popup.

### Privacy & checks

- **WebRTC leak protection** — While a proxy is active, Chrome is blocked from exposing your real IP through WebRTC. On by default, switchable in Options → Privacy.
- **One-tap leak test** — Checks your exit IP, WebRTC exposure and system-versus-proxy timezone coherence, and reports pass, warn or fail.
- **Test and rotate on demand** — Verify the proxy responds before a long run, or pull a fresh IP immediately, without leaving the popup.
- **IP whitelist and alerts** — Add the IP you connect from to the whitelist in one tap, and get notified on low bandwidth, plan expiry or proxy errors.

## How the extension works

Install it, sign in with your Quantum Proxies account or an API key, then drive your proxy from the toolbar. Here is the exact flow.

### Install the extension

Add Quantum Proxies Manager from the Chrome Web Store. The extension appears in your browser toolbar. No desktop app required.

### Sign in with your account or API key

Open the popup and continue with one click if you are already signed into the dashboard, or paste an API key. Email and password with 2FA also work. Credentials stay on your device.

### Select a plan and turn it on

Choose one of your active plans in the dropdown, then flip the switch. All browser traffic is routed through that proxy. Flip it off to disconnect.

### Optional: targeting, sessions and alerts

Set country, state and city — or the carrier on mobile plans — pick rotating or sticky sessions, enable auto-rotation for dedicated IPs, and get Chrome notifications for low bandwidth or plan expiry.

## Works with every plan you own

Residential, mobile, ISP, datacenter and IPv6 plans all show up in the popup's plan picker, each with the targeting options its network supports.

- Residential Premium — https://quantumproxies.io/residential-proxies
- Residential Basic — https://quantumproxies.io/residential-basic-proxies
- Mobile Proxies — https://quantumproxies.io/mobile-proxies
- ISP Proxies — https://quantumproxies.io/isp-proxies
- Datacenter Proxies — https://quantumproxies.io/datacenter-proxies
- IPv6 Proxies — https://quantumproxies.io/ipv6-proxies

Plans are bought and managed in the dashboard. The extension is free; it needs an active plan with available bandwidth.

## What the extension can and cannot see

Chrome asks for a few permissions at install time. Here is what each one is used for.

- **Proxy & request authentication** — Routes browser traffic through the proxy you selected and supplies its credentials. The extension does not read or modify the pages you open.
- **Privacy (WebRTC)** — Applies the Chrome policy that stops WebRTC from revealing your real IP while a proxy is active.
- **Storage** — Keeps your settings, profiles and your API key on your device, in Chrome's local storage.
- **Alarms & notifications** — Schedules automatic rotation and warns you about low bandwidth, plan expiry or connection errors.

The extension does not collect or store your browsing history, the URLs you visit or page content. The proxy and leak tests query public IP lookup services and send no account data.

## What is Quantum Proxies Manager?

Quantum Proxies Manager is the official Chrome extension for Quantum Proxies. It connects to your account and puts your proxies in the browser toolbar: no dashboard round-trip, no proxy strings to copy into Chrome or into a third-party switcher. Install it, sign in once, and turn a plan on or off with a single click.

Sign in with one click if you are already logged into the dashboard, with your email and password (2FA supported), or with an API key — credentials are stored locally in Chrome and used only to talk to Quantum Proxies servers. Profiles let you keep one setup for scraping and another for account work, and switch between them in the popup.

## Why use a proxy extension for Chrome?

A browser extension is the fastest way to enable or disable a proxy without touching system settings or configuring each application. From the popup you toggle the proxy, target the country, state or city you need, choose rotating or sticky sessions, and confirm with the leak test that your exit IP, WebRTC and timezone all agree — the checks that decide whether a session looks consistent to the site you are visiting.

## Who is the extension for?

It is built for anyone who already uses Quantum Proxies from Chrome: developers testing geo-specific behaviour, marketers verifying ads and search results by country, teams managing accounts that must keep a stable IP, and anyone who would rather not reconfigure a proxy by hand every time the task changes.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is Quantum Proxies Manager free?

Yes. The extension is free to install from the Chrome Web Store. You need an active Quantum Proxies account and a plan with available bandwidth to route traffic through it.

### How do I install the extension?

Open the Chrome Web Store listing from the button on this page (or search for Quantum Proxies Manager), click Add to Chrome and accept the permissions. The extension icon then appears in your toolbar.

### Can I sign in without copying an API key?

Yes. If you are already signed into the dashboard in the same browser, the login screen offers a one-click Continue and retrieves your key through that session. You can still paste an API key, or use email and password with two-factor authentication.

### Which proxy plans work in the extension?

All of them: Residential Premium, Residential Basic, Residential Private, Mobile, ISP, Datacenter and IPv6. The popup lists the plans on your account and shows the targeting options each network supports.

### Does the extension stop WebRTC leaks?

Yes. While a proxy is active the extension applies the Chrome policy that prevents WebRTC from exposing your real IP. It is on by default and can be switched off in Options → Privacy. The Leaks button re-checks exit IP, WebRTC and timezone whenever you want.

### What permissions does the extension need?

Proxy and request authentication to route traffic and supply credentials, privacy to block WebRTC leaks, storage for settings and your key, and alarms plus notifications for rotation and usage alerts. It does not read your browsing history or page content.

### Do I need a Quantum Proxies account?

Yes. The extension manages the plans on your account; it does not include proxy traffic of its own. Create an account, pick a plan in the dashboard, then sign in from the popup.

### Does the extension work with other Chromium browsers?

It is published on the Chrome Web Store and built for Google Chrome. It may work in other Chromium-based browsers such as Edge or Brave when they allow installing Chrome Web Store extensions.
